The Rose Jeffery Fund

Purpose: The primary purpose of the Fund is to support the growth of the Women's Legacy Fund endowment.

Background: Rose Jeffery has been involved with the Ventura County Community Foundation for many years, serving on various committees. She opened a Named Fund in 2007, committing additional, permanent support to the Women’s Legacy Fund. Rose created this fund “to support women and girls in need through the use of an endowment fund, which is designed to provide grants forever and can contribute to the community year after year”. Ms. Jeffery chose to work with the Community Foundation because “it is a large foundation dedicated to local needs”.
