Barbara Meister Fund for Women

Purpose:  The primary purpose of the Fund is to educate and assist women and girls in Ventura County by supporting the growth of the Women’s Legacy Fund. 

Background:  Barbara Meister is a founder of the Women’s Legacy Fund and created her Named Fund at the time the Women’s Legacy Fund was being formed.  She created a named fund within an endowment fund because she wanted to “use the interest only and keep the principal intact from my original contribution.”
