Purpose: The primary purpose of the Fund is to support the growth of the Women's Legacy Fund endowment.

Background: Batterton surprised the Ventura County Community Foundation by leaving a substantial portion of her estate to the Women’s Legacy Fund.  Her generosity created a significant legacy that will continue to provide assistance to women and girls for generations to come.
