Rene and Angela Rodriguez Destino Scholarship Fund

Purpose:  The primary purpose of the Fund is to support the growth of the Destino Scholarship Fund.

Background:  The Rodriguez family created this fund “to provide financial assistance to a segment of our community population that needs more help than others to earn a community college or university education”.  We know, as our parents did, that a higher education degree is the only way to open all doors for success in today’s modern world.”  The Rodriguez family chose to work with the Ventura County Community Foundation because of its established record of successful and responsible philanthropy in the community and note that an endowment “will allow the fund to provide enduring support to the Latino community as its members seek higher education degrees”.
