Purpose: The primary purpose of the Fund is to support the growth of the Destino Scholarship Fund.

Background: “We created this fund to assist first generation Hispanic college bound students with the financial support needed to obtain a higher education degree in their quest to become productive and contributing citizens in this great country.  We feel fortunate to be in a position to assist committed young scholars in achieving their educational and professional goals.  We are convinced that higher education can go a long way in achieving this goal.  VCCF has a proven track record in managing large charitable funds and effectively matching to community needs important to donors.  An endowment fund provides the best long term opportunity for charitable giving for donors as a legacy to their philanthropy.”  ~Marty de los Cobos
