Purpose: The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide scholarships for Ventura County students pursuing higher education in the arts.
Background: This fund was established in 2006 by Virginia Weber to honor and memorialize the life, artistic interests, and talents of her mother. Vivian was a gifted artist in many disciplines (painting, crafts, quilting, designing and making clothes) who never had the opportunity to attend college. Through this fund, Vivian’s spirit and legacy live on by providing scholarship support to undergraduate students majoring in the arts.
