Purpose of the fund:  The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide scholarship assistance for students graduating from Ventura County high schools with financial need who wish to pursue higher education.

Background:  With belief that education is the key to unlocking the golden door of opportunity, Mary and Jim Galbraith established this fund.  They encourage recipients to be “unlockers” and “door-openers” – creating opportunities for the benefit of the county, the country and the world.
