Purpose of the fund:  The primary purpose of this fund is to support general charitable purposes.

Background:  Burt and Mildred Dahl were long time residents of Ventura County.  They named VCCF as a beneficiary in their estate and requested that the monies be used for general charitable purposes.  They also requested that a portion be used to support the youth of Oak View and the Bert M. and Mildred O. Dahl Scholarship Fund was therefore established.
