This site is a directory of online resources for nonprofits with browsers that can search for specific organizations by name or county. Volunteer opportunities, nonprofit news, job and internship searches and connections to programs and services of other organizations are also available.
Better Business Bureau
The BBB Wise Giving Alliance offers guidance to donors on making informed giving decisions through charity evaluations, various "tips" publications, and publishes the quarterly Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Guide.
Aimed at nonprofit board members and chief executives, this site provides information about building stronger nonprofit organizations and boards. Access to publications about nonprofit governance as well as workshops and frequently asked questions are also available.

This Washington D.C. based site provides information on many aspects of the philanthropy world. News articles, information on gifts and grants, fundraising, nonprofit management and technology and links to other web-sites are also available.
Council on Foundations
The Council on Foundations, a nonprofit membership association of grantmaking foundations and corporations, provides access to thousands of grantmaking foundations and corporations, and provides access to more than 130 publications at this site. General information about foundations as well as educational programs and information about conferences and workshops are also available.
The Foundation Center
This site gives information for grantmakers and grantseekers including libraries of information about funding resources and proposal writing, directories for grantmakers and access to the "Online Librarian" to ask e-mail questions and receive replies. A new feature of the site includes a database of more than 15,000 documents called "The Literature of the Nonprofit Sector Online."
