Sydney Weisman

Sydney Weisman worked in print and television news and won awards as a radio reporter at WLS in Chicago. She had her own public relations agency in Chicago prior to founding her agency, WHPR, with her partner (and husband) David Hamlin in 1986. Sydney is among the most successful PR practitioners in Los Angeles; her reputation among media is no less than sterling – she has been called “the best publicist in town” by a respected Los Angeles Times reporter.
Sydney has placed stories in print and electronic media from coast to coast on behalf of clients including the Original Farmers Market in Los Angeles, Kids In Sports, Skid Row Housing Trust, the California Women’s Law Center and the California Association of Adult Day Services as well as law firms, restaurants, artists and activists. She has been a commentator on small business matters for APR’s Marketplace and served as one of three rotating commentators on KCET’s Life & Times.
