Lorrie Thomas, M.A., The Marketing Therapist ®, is a marketing strategist, educator, writer, web marketing expert, speaker and author of The 36-Hour Course to Online Marketing (McGraw Hill). She launched Lorrie Thomas Web Marketing (LTWM) in 2005 to help small business owners use the web to boost their business. LTWM now serves organizations exclusively for advisory, speaking, training and classes. Organizations bring her on as an expert advisor to get their web marketing on the fast track for success.
In 2009, Lorrie Thomas launched Web Marketing Therapy®, a smart, fun, full-service marketing agency and a recession-friendly self-help online marketing educational resource. Her "wild web woman" team serves small businesses, entrepreneurs and marketers. Their work ensures marketing treats the cause (vs band-aiding symptoms) so all marketing pieces click.
She teaches custom web marketing workshops for corporate and small businesses and also teaches web marketing courses through UC Berkeley Extension. Ms. Thomas was on the founding team at ValueClick Media. She speaks nationally on a number of marketing-related topics and caters her presentations to the business, niche, skill sets and professional concerns of her attendees. She writes for several online publications including Wilson Web. She is has been interviewed by INC, Forbes, Entrepreneur, eCommerce Times, DM News and Tech News World and quoted frequently as a nationally recognized web expert.
Previously, Ms. Thomas was the Internet Marketing Manager at Affinity Group Inc.(AGI), where she acted as their internal web marketing consultant. Her contributions included managing affiliate and search engine marketing programs for several outdoor recreation brands including RV.net, The Good Sam Club, Trailer Life Enterprises and other outdoor recreation businesses.
Her industry expertise encompasses developing web marketing strategy, optimizing websites, search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, selling and buying online advertising and educating students and businesses on a variety of web marketing-related topics.
