Katrina Maksimuk is a part time Program Associate for the Ventura County Community Foundation. She has been recognized by community, Universities and Arts Foundations for artistic talent. She has had professional work experience in diverse settings including entrepreneurship; launching KatalystX in 2007 to help individuals, businesses and non-profits help with marketing and business development on a minimum budget.

Raised in the generation of Social Media, Katrina uses a variety of Social Media tools for VCCF and her clients to achieve their goals. She enjoys teaching tools of social media as she believes there is a shift of public relations now being back in the public's hands.

Katrina holds her BS in Microbiology from the University of California Santa Barbara.
