David Hamlin
Weisman/Hamlin Public Relations

David Hamlin has been creating and implementing communications campaigns for nonprofit and advocacy organizations for several decades. He is a former Executive Director who managed nonprofits as the only staff person and as a CEO supervising a staff of 20; his work as a media spokesperson generated international attention.

David is a trained community organizer who has founded several successful community organizations and served on several Boards of Directors. He has developed strategic advocacy campaigns and strategies on issues as diverse as homelessness, health care, civil rights, environmental action and economic development; he has worked on political and proposition campaigns. David is the author of Mastering The Media ~ Purpose, Passion & Publicity for Nonprofit & Advocacy Organizations (Lulu Press, Lulu.com) and he writes a blog on nonprofit issues, Hamlin On Nonprofits.
