Cynthia has 30 years of experience as a communication and organizational development consultant, facilitator and trainer. She has consulted with a wide variety of government agencies, corporations, private nonprofit, and educational organizations around a variety of topics.
She is author of the book Creating Partnerships- Unleashing Collaborative Power in the Workplace and the manual Field Guide for Collaboration.
Cynthia earned her Doctorate at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Mythology and Depth Psychology, with an emphasis in organizational applications. She holds an M.A. in Communication, with an emphasis in Intercultural Communication, and a B.A. in Spanish. Dr. King has taught communication courses at California State University, Chico, Feather River College, and Antioch University, Santa Barbara. She taught “Creating Partnership Organizations” at Schumacher College, in southwestern England, and teaches “Practices in Dialogue, Collaboration, and Reconciliation” at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Cynthia lives with her husband on the family farm near Fillmore, California. She is the proud mother of two wonderful daughters, and the grandmother of a treasured grandson.
