Heritage Fund > Named Funds

Heritage Named Funds represent cumulative gifts and/or pledges which reach a total of $10,000 and more, and are a unique way to benefit permanently the Heritage Fund with a gift that lives in perpetuity. The gifts remain in the endowment, and support the ongoing grantmaking of the Fund. Named Funds can be formed by a group of siblings, business partners, friends or a service group. Names can be submitted to honor a family member or special person.

Jim Clark, a Founder and member of the Grants Committee explained -
“The Heritage Fund Grants Committee focuses grantmaking on the preservation of personal memories and histories of individuals, families and companies whose experiences reflect events in their communities and those who have helped to shape Ventura County.”

Named Funds represents a gift or pledge of $10,000 to the Heritage Fund permanent endowment, Whole earnings provide the source for annual grantmaking.
