Purpose of the fund: The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to benefit youth and women's issues, and other charitable purposes in Ventura County.  Ten percent of the Fund shall be non-designated so that the Fund can be targeted for future community needs that there is no way of anticipating today.

Background: Suzanne Chadwick is Regional Vice President for Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.  Her involvement in community affairs and organizations include being Past President of the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce and the Boy Scouts of America.  She has been involved with numerous non-profits throughout the county, including St. John’s Hospital Foundation, KCLU, and Oxnard Rotary Club, just to name a few.  She has received the Woman of Distinction Award and the Women Helping Women Award from Soroptmist International of Oxnard, Woman of Achievement Award from Buena Center Business and Professional Woman’s Organization, the Achille Levy Award and the Louis Lancaster and Reuben Irvin Awards from Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.  Sue was also named a Humanitarian by St. John’s Regional Medical Center.

The Suzanne M. Chadwick Fund was created to support the many needs in our community.   Ms. Chadwick reports being “blessed and wanting to share with others.  Working with VCCF makes it easy to make contributions that will last beyond my life on this earth.”
