Anogia Fund

Purpose of the fund: The primary purpose of the Fund shall be for general charitable purposes with a particular focus on faith-based education.

Background: Mr. Katch’s paternal grandfather came to the U.S. at age 14 from Anogia/Sparta Greece. He arrived with nothing, worked very hard to pursue the American dream, and was successful in building a better life for himself and his family. He was proud of his heritage, but he loved America and the opportunity it provided to those who are willing to put in the hard work. Mr. Katch chose to work with the Ventura County Community Foundation because it is a “great steward of charitable resources!”
