Ventura County Star Destino Fund

Purpose:  The primary purpose of the Fund is to support the growth of Destino: The Hispanic Legacy Fund endowment.

Background:  The Ventura County Star created this fund to support the Destino Reading Literacy Initiative.  The Star believes that supporting the local literacy effort to build reading skills for local children age 0-5 is a priority and that VCCF provides the adept professionalism to help envision and reach the Star’s goals to support literacy in Ventura County.  By selecting an endowment fund, the Star is able to continue to support literacy in Ventura County for generations to come.
