Friends of Olivas Adobe Fund

Purpose of the fund:  To support the programs and facilities providing public benefit at the historic Olivas Adobe in Ventura.

Background:  California's only remaining Monterey Style adobe home from the Gold Rush era—built by the Mexican Olivas family in the 1840s—is a California Historical Landmark that celebrates Ventura’s Chumash, Old West and Latino heritage through weekend tours, school educational outreach and special events.
