Established on: 09/28/2001
Purpose of the fund: This fund was established to provide an annual source of funds to conduct research important to understanding Ventura County’s pressing and current community needs.
Background: Mr. Fairburn, son of a Columbia University teacher, was born in New York City. Mrs. Fairburn’s parents were professors at St. Paul’s College in Tarsus, Turkey, where she was born.
