Purpose of the fund: The purpose of this fund is to support the Cornerstone Administrative Endowment Fund.
Background: William Bang joined the VCCF Board of Directors in 1996 and volunteered a decade of service to the organization. He has served on the Board in various roles including Chairman and Treasurer. William’s dedication to community didn’t begin at VCCF. He has been volunteering with non-profits since is youth living in New York City. Mr. Bang credits his mother for instilling a love and appreciation of music. He played the bass violin and immersed himself in the New York City music scene. He was once quoted as saying “exposure to music raised one’s awareness to art and changes one’s perspective.” This love of music fueled his desire to bring classical music to the Conejo Valley. Mr. Bang is a founding member and past president of the New West Symphony. His service to Ventura County also includes work with Conejo Senior Concerns, The Wellness Community and Pepperdine University.
Bill and MaryAnn have been married since 1951 and have two children and two grandchildren. They have lived in the Conejo Valley for 30 years.
