Virginia Weber is charged with managing VCCF’s scholarship program and fulfilling VCCF’s grant-making contract duties with Swift Memorial Health Care Foundation.

Virginia oversees the annual scholarship process from beginning to end. She works with donors of established funds and those interested in starting scholarship funds, creates annual guidelines, reviews and oversees website implementation of screening and application tools, manages volunteers, to name a few of her duties.

For the Swift Foundation, she manages all grantmaking activities.

Before Virginia started at VCCF in January 2004, she worked in Ventura County’s nonprofit sector for over 16 years, serving as an executive director, a fund-raiser, a grantor and volunteer manager. She also has volunteered for a variety of activities from coaching youth soccer to the League of Women Voters and the Ventura County Fair Board. She believes Ventura County is the absolute best place to live and work.

Virginia graduated from Ventura College with an associate’s degree and then from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.A.
