Susan, who has been at the Ventura County Community Foundation since 2002, coordinates the programmatic activities of the Center including planning, developing and implementing all open-enrollment workshops, managing the library, volunteer faculty and special events. She provides information referral and technical assistance to visitors to the Center with emphasis on the Foundation Center’s prospect research database, Foundation Directory Online Professional. She also moderates several of the Center’s workshops.

Her position includes focused outreach efforts to nonprofit networks including service clubs and affinity groups.

Susan has served on the board of directors for the Ventura Center for Spiritual Living, where she also teaches classes and coordinates fundraising events. Since 2007 she has been on the board directors for the Ventura County Volunteer Coordinators Council, where she currently serves as vice president.

Susan says of her job, “I enjoy speaking at public events to share the resources and learning opportunities that are available at the Center to strengthen the nonprofit leadership in Ventura County.”
