Hannah circulates VCCF news on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Ning as the social media specialist for the foundation. She also writes new releases, assists in VCCF publications, photographs events and produces multimedia content for the website.

An alumna of Thousand Oaks High School and Moorpark College, Hannah is a senior at University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majors in geography with a minor in science and mathematics education. Hannah came to VCCF in 2010 as an intern for the summer, initiating VCCF into the world of social media. After the three-month internship, she was hired as a part-time staffer.

Prior to joining the VCCF team, Hannah worked at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library at Air Force One, was the editor at the Student Voice newspaper for the Ventura County Community College District and is proud of her current editorship at The Bottom Line student publication at UCSB.

Says Hannah of her job, “I enjoy reporting on the success stories of VCCF scholarship winners. Talking with students and seeing the affect VCCF has on their education is inspiring to me and makes me proud to work at such an outstanding nonprofit.”
