At VCCF since March 2000, Claudia is in charge of making sure all VCCF bills are paid on time and charged to the right fund accounts. She also keeps track of all money that comes into VCCF. Board and committee members depend on her to keep perfect records so they know what is available to spend, how much has been spent or how much money was raised.
A graduate of Hueneme High, Claudia studied at Oxnard College. She came to VCCF after working at the Verizon Phone Mart in Oxnard. During her time at the foundation, Claudia has been a receptionist, program assistant and has helped administer grants and scholarships.
Says Claudia of VCCF, “After I worked for VCCF for a few months, I and my family found out my mother was diagnosed with ALS. VCCF colleagues supported me emotionally and informed me of resources we have in Ventura County to help my mother during that difficult time. I am forever grateful for that support! What our organization does really matters and helps our community so I take great pride to be a part of VCCF.”
