The Administration/Finance Committee oversees the Foundation's staff/administrative resources and the infrastructure needed to maintain overall organizational capacity and excellence.

The purpose of the Audit Committee is to oversee and approve the annual VCCF audit process.

The purpose of the Board Development Committee is to recruit, develop and retain a governing Board, which represents the range of the Community Foundation's donors and the residents of Ventura County. The Board Development Committee also provides for the continuing education of the Board to ensure a knowledgeable, informed and involved Board membership.

The Communications Committee oversees the development of a communications and outreach program for all sectors of the community which communicates a clear, consistent and concise message to further understanding and support of the Community Foundation's efforts.

The purpose of the Strategic Planning Committee is to develop an annual Strategic Plan to guide VCCF's development and monitor accomplishments in relation to the Plan.

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) was established to increase the awareness and importance of philanthropy among professional advisors and to encourage the development of permanent charitable resources for Ventura County. In particular, the TAC increases VCCF's outreach and exposure to the professional community and advises the Foundation on technical and legal issues relative to charitable giving.
